DAYS 15,16,17 BUCK MEADOWS - YOSEMITE
We arrived in Buck Meadows Camp (see pix)- set up camp in the mountains near Yosemite, on the 8th—
Marlene takes set-up in hand. 104 degrees. YaI set up the water, elec, etc and muscled up the mobile pantry etc
Today, we awakened to a 4 hour challenge with a leak under the underside shield— soaking some stored hardware and clothing items. Anyway, we retooled and did some wash and dried it out.
After all that, off to Yosemite and I am posting some shots of the breathtaking cliffs, mountains, huge redwoods or cedars of some kind. We drove every mile available for exploration. We got lost due to some constraints.
Thanks president Roosevelt and John MuirT

walked out to a cliff’s edge to shoot these snaps. That edge behind me was an un-protected drop of thousands of feet.Right behind me here, on that edge you see, it’s a straight drop off forever! (above)
It's like Zion or canyonlands or white sands because you can't take a bad picture
Yes, Yosemite is breathtaking

Glad you got a chance to cruise the park. Gerry and I spent a VERY cold night there in a tent camp on our honeymoon. Brrrrr! We toured Bryce Canyon too and up or down 395. It was in October :).
